Our homeboy Cuthead from Dresden, Germany has just dropped his new free-to-download album City Slicker. Ya’ll may remember him from a while back when we posted one of his older joints, Walk Through Walls from his Blocker EP (check the link for full download of Blocker). City Slicker is a bit of a change of direction from his last offerings, it is still predominantly a hip hop and beats album but there is also a strong exploration into a deep house sound. As usual, his production is on point and the album flows impressively smoothly between hip hop beats, deep house and breaks without sounding like a ragtag compilation of styles.
