Novamen – Lies (electro wave bomb!)

A little more love for the Novamen, this is a cool fan made filmclip for their epic electro wave tearjerker Lies. Lies is easily the Novamen’s biggest hit, released on Viewlexx in 2008. This was a huge favourite with the listeners at Cybernetic Broadcasting Systems, and the record sold out within days, going on – like many Viewlexx releases, to be resold for crazy prices over at Discogs, Ebay and the forums over at Robots For Robots (We are talking big euros here). I was lucky enough to get a copy of the original pressing from Clone, and well, it hasn’t left my record box since.

By the way, things calmed down a little after it was repressed, so if you are after a copy take a look over at Discogs. If you ask me it is one 12″ no record collection should be without.

The filmclip is made up of footage from 1978 Norwegian TV miniseries Blindpassasjer.
