Today’s track is a selection from French electro Goddess, songstress/seductress Nancy Fortune — best known for her amazing EP The Secret Life Of… on Viewlexx, and her disco collaborations with I-F & Intergalactic Gary‘s project The Parallax Corporation, Alden Tyrell, S-Y-D, a guest appearance on Luke Eargoggle‘s album Pawns of the Field, and most recently a track with the Novamen‘s Mr. Pauli where she jammed back and forth on vocals with Italo disco legend Fred Ventura plus some haunting vocals for Beta Evers on all girl minimal electro label Venus Noir.
This track is lots of fun…new style dancefloor electro funk with cuts of a lot of classic samples thrown in for good measure. It’s from her recent album Crystallised — a rare album in that every track on it is outstanding! With a mix of styles from disco to electro and experimental tracks, and featuring production from Nancy herself along with I-F, Parallax Corporation and S-Y-D, it is basically the jam. But you know what, even though you should trust our taste in music by now, don’t even listen to us — listen to old school hip hop and electro legend, motherfucking MAN PARRISH!
