We’re back baby! That’s right, the Cold Crush Wreckin’ Cru will be joined by our special guest Dj Japeye from Adelaide for a little housewarming at our new home, Tone Nightclub in Surry Hills. Ya’ll know the deal — rude electro funk, old school hip hop and bboy jams, not to mention a little smooooth boogie.
We are very happy with our new home: A spacious converted industrial space, with a large stage, a nice big dancefloor and plenty of relaxed seating around too. The food is good and cheap (and the drinks are even cheaper!) and most importantly, the sound is BAD ASS — louder than a bomb but smoother than a crystal ship. And you know us at Cold Crush… we like it loud!
And in the newsflash of the year, the next night the Cold Crush mob are on support duties for none other than Egyptian Lover himself, along with Jimmy Edgar (Warp / K7 Records) at the Civic!
